Ogilvy & Mather Employees Recognized as Part of the 8th Annual ADCOLOR® Awards
Ashley Mackel and Daniel Marin Nominated for RISING STAR and INNOVATOR Awards
NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy & Mather North America is pleased to announce the special recognition of two employees for the 8th Annual ADCOLOR® Awards. The ADCOLOR® awards honor hardworking individuals in the advertising, marketing and entertainment industries, who strive to establish diversity within their professions. Nominee finalists, Ashley Mackel and Daniel Marin were included among other top-honorees in a special advertising section in today's issue of Adweek.
Ashley Mackel, Worldwide Marketing Manager of Ogilvy & Mather, is recognized as a finalist for the Rising Star Award. Those recognized for the Rising Star award have proven their worth as 'young guns' in the industry, setting goals and applying their talents and skills to attain them. Mackel has been a part of the Ogilvy & Mather family since August 2008. She became the Worldwide Marketing Manager of Worldwide Corporate Communications at Ogilvy & Mather in July 2012, where she quickly expanded on her previous OgilvyOne skills, becoming one of the many 'stars,' on the Ogilvy & Mather team. Mackel is a founding member of OgilvyCULTURE, a cross cultural marketing business practice aimed at developing the value proposition, initial partnerships and client engagement.
Daniel Marin, Managing Director, Ogilvy & Mather North America was also recognized as a finalist for this year's ADCOLOR® awards, specifically for The Innovator Award. This award identifies individuals in the advertising industry who exemplify growth and imagination in the workplace, standing out among their peers as game changers, and pioneers in their role while creating breakthrough improvements. Marin began at Ogilvy & Mather over eleven years ago and has held various key roles within the organization throughout his time. In his current role, he leads a think tank with a team of innovators that deliver cost-effective videos and other assets to feed the ever-growing content engines for brands around the world. Despite having a demanding schedule, Marin remains highly involved in the community on both coasts.
