OfficeMax Receives 'Supplier of the Year' From Boeing
NAPERVILLE, Ill., April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OfficeMax® Incorporated (NYSE: OMX), a leader in office products and services, has been recognized as Supplier of the Year in the non-production category by The Boeing Company. OfficeMax was one of fourteen companies honored April 13 for exceptional commitment to excellence in working with Boeing. The non-production category encompasses goods not used in the production of Boeing aircraft.
In January, OfficeMax was one of approximately 300 companies to win a Boeing Performance Excellence Award for 2009. As an award winner, OfficeMax moved into consideration for the Boeing Supplier of the Year award, which is the company's premier supplier honor.

This selection was based on stringent performance criteria for quality, delivery performance, cost, environmental initiatives, customer service and technical expertise.
