OfficeMax Receives Prestigious 'Supplier of the Year' Award From Corporate United

NAPERVILLE, Ill., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- OfficeMax® Incorporated (NYSE: OMX), a leader in office products and services, today announced that Corporate United, the nation's largest group purchasing organization, has selected OfficeMax as the 2010 recipient of the Corporate United Supplier of the Year Award. OfficeMax earned the award based on receiving the highest marks from Corporate United's annual vendor survey conducted with its member companies who are asked to rate suppliers on account management, pricing, level of quality, breadth of offerings and overall satisfaction.

In January, OfficeMax received The Boeing Company's the Supplier of the Year Award in the non production category, which is the company's premier supplier honor. Winning was based on stringent performance criteria for quality, delivery performance, cost, environmental initiatives, customer service and technical expertise.
