NYPD Social Media Unit has Nothing on Motivators' 'Twime' Investigators
WESTBURY, N.Y., Aug. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Motivators Inc. is once again ahead of the curve. On the same day that the New York Daily News reported on the NYPD's new social media unit, Motivators shared its latest YouTube phenomenon, "Twitter PD's Promo Blue Bird Toy: Better than a Business Card."
The video, which can be viewed at http://youtu.be/PvDxJfAZBLg, follows Detective M. Connor. As lead detective of the Twitter Investigation Unit, he fights to defend the latest victim of a Twime (Twitter crime). The hilarious short film, which is accompanied by a TwitterPD Web site, was written and directed by Motivators' Graphic Design and Video Production Supervisor, Anthony Zuaro.
When Zuaro stumbled upon the news regarding the NYPD's new unit, he was understandably surprised. "When I got the idea for the Motivators TwitterPD video, I actually wondered if we'd ever see a Twitter Investigation Unit in our lifetime," Zuaro said. "I don't know if it's just because of our close proximity to New York City, but I feel like this is one of the craziest coincidences I've ever witnessed."
The YouTube video aims to promote one of Motivators' newest items, the custom imprinted WeeBeansblue bird toy with custom tag. At the same time, it shares a consistent brand image and message about Motivators, a Long Island-based promotional products distributor which was recently featured in the Advertising Specialty Institute's Advantages magazine for creating "buzzworthy videos to engage its customers," with audiences.
