Nurx Expands to Oregon, Leveraging Telemedicine to Provide Affordable and Convenient Healthcare

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Nurx, the consumer healthcare company providing unlimited online consultations with medical providers and seamless delivery of medications and home testing, is now available in Oregon. The telemedicine company offers birth control, home HPV testing, and the HIV prevention medication PrEP, expanding access to high quality, patient-first preventive care.

Nurx is focused on providing convenient and affordable preventive care, leveraging telemedicine to reach those who traditionally lack access to healthcare. After consulting with a state-licensed medical provider, Nurx patients can choose from over 50 birth control brands, many of which are affordable and cost-effective for those with and without insurance. Nurx's Home HPV Screening test checks for high-risk strains of HPV that can lead to cervical cancer, which nearly 13,000 women are diagnosed with each year and is one of the most preventable types of cancer.
