Pat was a dedicated and valued instructional assistant in the Special Education Department who helped many students succeed and reach their academic potential. The Board approved the award to be presented by the Smith family and the Kennett High School Special Education Department, faculty, and staff in memory of Pat Smith. This award will be presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding determination and has overcome academic and personal challenges during his/her lifetime at Kennett High School.
