NHCAA Annual Training Conference: November 16-19 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Over 1,200 investigators from private health insurance Special Investigative Units and state and federal law enforcement agencies will gather at the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA)'s Annual Training Conference (ATC) at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, November 16-19. Registrants will learn about fraud trends and emerging schemes and explore innovative solutions that will help protect the American public from the heavy human and economic costs of health care fraud, the association announced today. NHCAA will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary as a leader in the fight against health care fraud during the conference.
The ATC is the most comprehensive anti-fraud training conference available to health care fraud investigators and law enforcement professionals. With over 50 workshops, this conference provides attendees with unparalleled educational programming on the latest developments in fraud-fighting and prevention. Included among the more than 100 presenters are Dr. Peter Budetti, Deputy Administrator and Director, Center for Program Integrity at CMS, and Paul Vincke, President of the European Health Care Fraud and Corruption Network.
The ATC's Anti-Fraud Expo Hall will feature the premier companies in anti-fraud technology and services. These companies will demonstrate the newest fraud prevention and detection techniques, providing investigators the most innovative and effective tools in fighting fraud.
In addition, NHCAA will present its annual awards for Investigation of the Year, Investigative Excellence (recognizing the anti-fraud efforts of private insurance companies), Medical Director of the Year, and Excellence in Public Awareness. These awards will all be presented at the NHCAA Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 12:30; the Awards Luncheon will be an open-press event.
