BBF is a comprehensive public-private partnership that seeks to improve academic performance, raise graduation rates, and increase civic and community responsibility in the Omaha Metropolitan area of Douglas and Sarpy counties. Susie Buffett, chairman of The Sherwood and Susan Thompson Buffett foundations and the Buffett Early Childhood Fund, as well as several other prominent local leaders serve on the BBF executive board.
To assist the partnership, nFocus will implement TraxSolutions, a system that ensures youth-related data is shared and analyzed on an ongoing basis by various community partners to support decision making and deliver meaningful change.
"After carefully considering several firms, we chose to partner with nFocus because of their track record of success," said Bob Beechum, director of Data & Research for Avenue Scholars Foundation and Building Bright Futures. "nFocus will give us the capacity to link our community's disparate data systems and track student progress over time, helping us to create a pipeline to student success."
Ananda Roberts, president of nFocus Software, said, "Omaha is addressing critical youth issues and we're proud to be their technology partner. Our solutions will support their long-term community goals and help them put a system in place to match resources with successful programs."
TraxSolutions is scheduled to begin to go live with local partners in July.
