NewPage Escanaba Michigan Mill to Manufacture Papers for Pressure Sensitive Label Industry
STEVENS POINT, Wis., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- NewPage Corporation today announced that its world-class No. 3 paper machine at its Escanaba, Michigan mill will manufacture release liner and general purpose label papers for North American and International pressure sensitive markets.

The Escanaba mill's No. 3 paper machine has a 262 inch trim. The NewPage Escanaba, Michigan, mill is a fully integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility, and has an annual capacity of 845,000 tons on three paper machines, producing label facestock and release liner, high-end commercial printing, catalog, magazine and book grades. The Escanaba mill is third-party certified to three chain-of-custody systems, including the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) (BV-COC-953662), the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes.
