New Tools to Analyze Local Business Visibility on Search Sites via Universal Business Listing
UBL shows businesses how to optimize their online search profiles by unleashing the Power of Presence
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Business Listing (www.UBL.org), the central collection and distribution point for business profiles online, today announced the release of a new set of tools for businesses to analyze their location-based search visibility.
The tools include a free online tool at UBL.org to pre-check the presence of business listings on key search engines and directories, in advance of UBL's full profile syndication.
The second tool, the Local Search Listing Audit, provides an enterprise-grade analysis across a broad array of search publishers for companies with hundreds or thousands of locations. This report provides a PDF summary scoring the visibility, as well as a full spreadsheet data download of the detailed findings, highlighting any variations or errors in name, address, phone number and URL.
This improved tool covers more search sites, has more analysis and allows interactive agencies to view results inside the UBL listing dashboard.
The company also has released a new Visibility Report, as part of its syndication packages, which shows the growth of online references or citations for each listing over time, notably from a Google viewpoint. One national hotel brand used this new tool to track their citations after submission via UBL and found over 200% improvement in the amount of references to their listings on Google.
"These new and expanded tools are important to help businesses understand the reality of their visibility today," said Doyal Bryant, UBL's CEO. "Many do not realize the amount of errors and variations, before they start the clean-up process with UBL."
He said the tools were already heavily used by agencies and UBL resellers in their own sales process to show the value of listing packages to customers.
Bryant said analysis and syndication went hand in hand for Local Search Optimization, and showed proof of the value of the business listing process.
More details of the tools can be found at www.ubl.org/reporting . UBL is a service of Charlotte, NC-based Name Dynamics, Inc (NDIX.PK).
