NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Conde Nast Entertainment (CNE) goes backstage with designer Zac Posen to capture a never-before-seen look at his high-profile New York Fashion Week Spring 2015 runway show with the new series called #followme. Culminating exclusively on THE SCENE (www.thescene.com), the series features the behind-the-scenes stories of five industry insiders as they prep for the big day. For the first time, five brands have come together to collaborate on an original series that captures an exclusive 360 degree view of New York Fashion Week. #followme debuts on TheScene.com, Vogue, Glamour, Style.com and Allure.
"Only a handful of people ever experience all aspects of NYFW. Some see it from the runway, some see it from backstage, some see it as spectators, but no one sees it like this," said Michael Klein, executive vice president of programming and content strategy, CNE. "In #followme, viewers spend the day in the life of a designer, a model, hair stylist, makeup artist, and fashion blogger, for a completely immersive experience inside a Tier 1 fashion show.
The multi-perspective series follows top industry professionals as they work their magic the day of the show. Viewers learn about the unique challenges that go into every aspect of the show, from last-minute preparations backstage to what happens from the show floor.
Says Zac Posen, "I'm honored to have welcomed Conde Nast Entertainment to my studio, backstage, and into the show preparation. It has been a wonderful experience to be able to share the process of construction, the work, and the joy with amazing collaborators."
