Natural Products Leader Al Powers Joins Board of Solix Algredients

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix Algredients, Inc. has appointed Al Powers to its board of directors.

Mr. Powers is the former CEO of NOW Health Group, Inc. For more than 40 years, he has been a pioneer in the natural products industry, actively involved in health food retailing, defending the rights of consumers to buy natural products, and working with industry trade associations.

Solix Algredients has repositioned as a B2B supplier of high quality natural ingredients derived from microalgae for the nutrition and personal care markets. With the Powers appointment, Solix adds a well-respected natural products and dietary supplements expert to support its strategic direction.
