National Geographic Learning's Financial Algebra Now Approved for Use in Mesa Public Schools
Building upon the state's effort to ensure that all students graduate high school with financial literacy, NGL's engaging program will bridge financial algebra with real-world financial situations
BOSTON, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- National Geographic Learning (NGL), part of Cengage Learning and a provider of quality educational materials for the PreK-12, adult education and ELT markets, today announced that the Financial Algebra program has been approved for use in grades 9-12 by Mesa Public Schools in Arizona.

The program also introduces students to selected topics from Algebra II and Pre-Calculus in an ability-appropriate way, while covering topics such as taxes, insurance, banking, budgeting, investing, home ownership, auto ownership, credit and more. Financial Algebra offers all students the opportunity to extend and practice their algebra mechanics and problem-solving skills in interesting and engaging, age-appropriate scenarios.
