ATLANTA, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- National DCP, (NDCP) the $2 billion supply chain management cooperative serving Dunkin' Donuts franchisees, has promoted Roland Ornelas to Chief Commercial Officer. Ornelas joined the company in 2013 in the role of Chief Procurement Officer.
"Roland has built a world-class strategic sourcing and program management function that has helped save our members more than $340 million cumulatively," noted Scott Carter, Chief Executive Officer. "Given his successful track record with developing partnerships, Roland is the ideal person to manage our day-to-day relationship with Dunkin' and franchisee leadership, and any new customers we could potentially serve in the future."
As the Chief Commercial Officer, Ornelas has strategic oversight of the relationship with National DCP's customers, partners, suppliers and vendors to effectively support the company's supply chain and program management functions. Ornelas has nearly 25 years of experience transforming the sourcing and supply chain capabilities of significant players within the food and hospitality industries. Prior to joining NDCP, he served as Vice President of Supply Chain for Wyndham Worldwide, Vice President of Supply Chain Management at O'Charley's Inc., and held leadership roles with Carlson Companies, PepsiCo, YUM Brand's Supply Chain Cooperative (UFPC) and Havi Global Solutions.
