We are honored to receive this distinction for eight different Washington properties."
"We are proud to designate these eight buildings as BOMA 360 Performance Buildings in recognition of the high standards the management team has achieved in every aspect of building operations and management," said BOMA International Chair Joseph F. Markling, Managing Director CBRE. "By achieving the BOMA 360 designation, the management of these buildings has demonstrated to their owners, tenants, prospective tenants and the community that these properties are being managed to the highest standards of excellence."
The BOMA 360 Performance Program is a groundbreaking building designation program that evaluates properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety/security/risk management; training and education of building personnel; energy management; environmental/sustainability performance; and Client relations and community involvement. The program takes a holistic approach to evaluating a building's operations and management benchmarks a building's performance against industry standards. Created at a time when building owners and managers are looking to differentiate themselves in a demanding market, the program offers these specific benefits for Akridge: provides an additional tool for internal audit of policies and procedures; increases team spirit amongst building management teams; provides a cost-effective assessment of the company's portfolio; elevates the brand of a building; and meets the high standards set by BOMA.
