SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Since joining forces in May of 2016, full-service agency MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER and London-based creative agency VCCP have created a global creative partnership. Together, they've shared resources to deliver strategic solutions for global brands including Shell, T-Mobile, and Audi.
The agencies are announcing today that MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER will now operate under the united name of M/H VCCP in North America.
The decision to link the names is a natural progression for the agencies based on the success of the partnership and client work over the past two years. M/H VCCP's structure has proven valuable, with the ability to quickly mobilize international resources from their hubs to efficiently move global client work forward. The M/H VCCP entity also grants clients increased global reach and access to international talent, with more than 1,000 employees across eight offices, including London, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Sydney, Berlin, Madrid and Prague.
"We are now M/H VCCP," said John Matejczyk, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. "Beyond giving everyone a break on the keyboard, the name change reflects an important evolution in our business and our own company, as well as the industry at large. Since coming together in 2016, we've witnessed a dramatic shift in what clients are looking for. They need agencies to spin up overnight, not just on quick marketing trinkets, to help solve complex business challenges and make it work around the globe."
The M/H VCCP name update comes at a time when the advertising industry is experiencing major changes as it pertains to workflow, the structure of client relationships, and the continued rise of brands building in-house agencies.
"In the middle of the small regional boutique agencies and the large global networks lives a pocket of agencies carving out new ways of working with clients," said Adrian Coleman, CEO of VCCP. "Over the past two years, we've formed a hub with MUH-TAY-ZIK | HOF-FER that is able to develop global work and insights and isn't beholden to layers of network bureaucracy. We've also combined our understanding of cultural nuances and regional similarities and differences. That knowledge has informed our client work for the better and M/H VCCP in North America reflects that story and progress."
As M/H VCCP evolves, the hope is to fill a gap in the market with a culturally-attuned global team that quickly adapts to and addresses the complex challenges global brands are facing. By deftly blending creative thinking and strategy, M/H VCCP aims to be a go-to global creative partnership that helps brands get chased.
"The new M/H VCCP name reflects the global evolution of two of the industry's most forward-thinking and innovative agencies," said Russel Wohlwerth, Principal at External View Consulting. "They are both outliers in the sense that they are in hot pursuit of where marketing is headed as opposed to so many agencies who are stuck where advertising has been. To now be publicly recognized as a unified entity is a testament to their shared vision for the future. I look forward to continuing to watch what they're able achieve together."
