MTN Government Services Introduces the Re-Deployable Secure Operations Center for Government and Commercial Organizations
New Modular and Mobile Facility Exceeds Today's Most Stringent Security Standards; Provides Increased Functionality and Lower-Cost Alternative to Traditional SCIFs
LEESBURG, Va., March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MTN Government Services (MTNGS), a subsidiary of MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), the global provider of communications, connectivity and content services to remote locations around the world, today announced the immediate availability of its new Re-Deployable Secure Operations Center (RSOC), the industry's most secure, self-standing mobile facility. The RSOC is a state-of-the-art solution that can be drop-shipped into any environment and assembled within days by only a couple of installers. The structure is self-supporting and is capable of withstanding multiple disassemblies and redeployments without degradation. This enables both government and commercial organizations (military operations, oil and gas, construction, data centers, etc.) to invest in a secure mobile facility that delivers long-term return-on-investment.
The RSOC's construction is based off of the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, the highest possible security standard used by the U.S. government. The facility is constructed of 4" thick modular panels, welded with inner and outer steel with high-density insulation to aid in exceeding sound attenuation standards. In addition, there is a unique sound masking device and RF Shielding. Power, data and voice connections pass securely through a customizable enclosure to fit all needs for CONUS, OCONUS and MIL-Spec connections.
"Our solution addresses many of the shortcomings of traditional Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)," said James Ramsey, President of MTN Government Services. "SCIFs lack modularity, flexibility and reusability, and are expensive to build, typically taking months to stand up. Organizations are demanding standalone, fully-functional secure mobile facilities that can be reused for various tasks and operations. The MTNGS RSOC is ready today and meets the advanced needs of organizations requiring a remote secure facility."
