Moutai World Fans Club Event is a Success, Chinese Baijiu Received High Praise from Hollywood
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2015, China's Kweichow Moutai was embraced by liquor lovers around the world and earned Gold Awards for its global promotional activities. This year, in September, 2016 the Moutai World Fans Club's first official event was held at one of Los Angeles most famous Asian restaurants. The activity attracted many Hollywood stars to join in the celebration of Chinese liquor culture, with Moutai as its phenomenal representative, earning many new fans and becoming a new favorite among the locals.
When the night began, most of the guests had heard of Moutai, but with few taste. However, after the first bottle was opened, everyone was instantly attracted to its enchanting aroma.
"I feel I've fallen into its unique taste." Hollywood actor Justin Eaton said. He felt that the flavor was a bit strong at the first sip but after two or three drinks, he remarked that the taste became very smooth and not as strong as he had first imagined.

During the event, guests began to drink happily and more freely after their first careful tastes. The night quickly became a celebration and a series of heartfelt toasts as more and more people raised their glasses to exclaim "Ganbei!" the traditional toast of China.

At the Moutai International Distributors Conference, Chairman Yuan Renguo of the Moutai Group stressed that in the next five years, overseas markets should strive to achieve an average annual growth rate of more than 15%. Recently, Secretary Mr.Li Baofang of Moutai Group Party Committee emphasized that overseas sales should account for over 10% of total sales. The sales networks of Moutai are becoming more complete by the day. In recent years, Moutai has developed 90 distributors abroad and is working to change their consumer groups' makeup, from a mainly Chinese market to a western mainstream market.
From January to April of 2016, the export of Moutai increased 40% year on year which completed 32% of their annual plan. Guizhou Moutai Import & Export Company is full of enthusiasm about the ever-expanding overseas market.
