Moontoast Announces Tim Putnam as New VP of Client Services
NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Moontoast announced today the appointment of Tim Putnam as the new vice president of client services. In his new role, Tim will work with Moontoast's specialty retail, music, publishing and celebrity clients to develop online strategies that create personality, impact, engagement, and revenue for their brands.

Tim is a visionary in where design, media and social networking collide, in addition to being a published author, songwriter, and photographer. In 1997, Tim had his first songwriting cut. That momentum led to a string of cuts, including a song with Grammy Award winner, Michael W. Smith, and placement on J.J. Abrams' soundtrack-heavy hit television show, "Felicity".
In 2005, Tim began his work at Music City Networks, creating online strategies and brand management for superstar entertainers including Kelly Clarkson, Rich Franklin, and Toby Keith. As a partner in the company, he led a culture of creativity to position MCN as one of the most highly reputable web design and development companies in the entertainment space.
In 2008, Tim was part of an exclusive group of songwriters (including Kris Kristofferson, Charlie Daniels, Janis Ian, and others) to contribute a short story to "A Guitar and a Pen - Stories by Country Music's Greatest Songwriters". The book, which was edited by New York Times Bestselling Author, Robert Hicks, and included a foreword by Vince Gill.
Tim is a recurring guest speaker at Vanderbilt University's Entertainment and Media Management class. He has spoken on social media and marketing to the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), in addition to speaking on Belmont University's "Best Job Ever" panel in 2009. Tim also serves as part of the Nashville Symphony Council.
