Managing Director David B. Armstrong, CFA Leads Several Key Panels on Best Practices for Financial Advisors in Leveraging Digital Marketing and Social Media

Armstrong, CFA, a Managing Director, recently served as a speaker at FOCUS, the annual all-advisors national conference of LPL Financial, which serves as a premier industry training event for financial advisors across the country.
This year's FOCUS conference was a four-day event held at the San Diego (CA) Convention Center on August 19-22, bringing together leaders from independent wealth management firms throughout the nation to discuss critical issues in the financial services industry, and share best practices and resources on how to most effectively grow and manage their practices.
At the conference, Mr. Armstrong co-led a panel titled Best Practices from Top Advisors to Maximize Your Social Media Efforts, and led two separate presentations titled How to Manage & Leverage Your Digital Market Efforts as well as SalesForce in Use – How a Top Advisor Uses SalesForce to Manage His Practice and Staff to over 100 advisors. During these sessions, Mr. Armstrong shared his strategic vision about the use of various digital marketing and social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, HubSpot and Linkedin, as well as SalesForce CRM all of which are increasingly becoming critical in establishing and solidifying relationships with clients and referral bases, in addition to being important sources of information affecting the industry.
