MobileHelp® Healthcare Offers How-to Insight for Implementing a Remote Patient Monitoring Program
New white paper and webinar aim to address challenges for healthcare providers
BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileHelp® Healthcare, a leader in healthcare technology solutions, today announced a new webinar and corresponding white paper – both titled "Remote Patient Monitoring Made Easy" – aimed at helping healthcare providers plan for and optimize results as they move through the process of implementing a remote patient monitoring (RPM) program.
Scheduled for December 7th at 3 p.m. EST, the complementary webinar will feature an introduction by Garrett Schmitt, MBA, Managing Editor, ACO Exhibit Hall, and features presenters Chris A. Otto, Senior Vice President, MobileHelp Healthcare, Jerriene Cordova, Director of Telehealth Programs, MobileHelp Healthcare and David Taylor, RN, Implementation Consultant.
The new white paper was created in conjunction with Avery Telehealth, and aims to encapsulate best practices for new RPM program implementation, incorporating six "steps for success," which combine well-known industry research in addition to real-world examples and solutions.
Both the webinar and white paper explore the six "steps" – or primary areas for provider consideration – including the following:
- Focus on program objectives and outcomes
- Select technology patients will want to use
- Create a program that is an extension of the current care model
- Create a clear patient enrollment plan
- Have a realistic outlook on the number of resources needed
- Ensure the program can be tailored to specific patient populations:
"Working through the implementation process with our healthcare provider partners and customers has given us insight into the key elements involved in a successful telehealth program," said Chris A. Otto, SVP of MobileHelp Healthcare. "We've blended that hands-on experience with industry research we've gathered to create this new white paper. Our intent is that it can serve as a go-to guide for providers looking to implement or expand an RPM program within their organization."
Registration for the webinar is available free of charge on the MobileHelp Healthcare website, and following the webinar, a recorded version will be available on the website for download.
