Minyanville Media Puts Ad-Free Content to the Test
NEW YORK, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- At the conclusion of Advertising Week in New York City, Minyanville Media, the Emmy Award winning financial news site launched a new subscription service for its financial and business website. "AD FREE" as it is named will erase all advertisements from the subscribers' pages.

A key debate in the publishing industry is the unanswered question: will consumers pay for ad-free content? Minyanville Media is putting this to the test.
Minyanville.com's current offering of up-to-the-minute financial ideas, analysis, commentary, and insight is free through ad support from a roster of blue-chip advertisers. This is the generally accepted model in the publishing industry. Minyanville will now test the value of content without ads to a limited number of subscribers.
Beginning today, Minyanville.com readers will have the option to pay $8 a month to read content, experience Minyanville and join a community completely free of advertisements.
