Mindray Medical to Exhibit at MEDICA 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany from November 16-19, 2011
SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR), a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, today announced that it will take part in MEDICA 2011, the world's largest medical trade fair to be held between November 16 and 19 in Dusseldorf, Germany. Mindray will be hosting boosts H9 A74/A78 and H2 C07 at the 43rd World Forum of Medicine - International Trade Fair with Congress.
Mindray will exhibit more than 70 products from its three primary business segments: patient monitoring and life support products, in-vitro diagnostic products, and medical imaging systems. The company will present five new products, including:
- The BeneView T1 patient monitoring system
- The iMEC series patient monitor
- The iPM series patient monitor
- The DC-8 color ultrasound
- The newly acquired Hyssen's urinary sediment analysis system
BeneView T1 is both a compact multi-parameter module and a lightweight transport monitor. It is compatible with all BeneView bedside patient monitors and supports all standard parameters. The T1 is specially designed to follow the patient throughout different points of care, allowing for mobile patient monitoring. Its seamless data transferring capability guarantees the continuity of monitoring information. When connected wirelessly to a central monitoring system, all information from the T1 can be viewed from a nurse station or any bedside monitor in the network.
The iMEC is an innovative patient monitor with "green" credentials: it reduces the ecological footprint in a hospital and contributes to sustainable care. The iMEC uses 50% less power than conventional patient monitors, which improves its battery life and allows for a fanless design, making it cleaner and quieter to operate. Its portable design, touch screen, flexible network capabilities and accurate monitoring functions make the iMEC an ideal choice for emergency rooms, post-anesthesia care units, general wards and outpatient areas.
The iPM is a new modular patient monitor with a touch screen. Its compact and functional design makes it ideal for both acute and sub-acute care, and its plug-and-play modular structure allows users to quickly adjust all monitoring functions according to their specific clinical needs. An intuitive interface with configurable user modes and intelligent, easy-to-use functions helps save time and improves overall patient care. Thanks to its wired and wireless network connections with Mindray's central monitoring system, all patient data from an iPM can be viewed conveniently from a nurse station or any bedside monitor in the network.
The DC-8 is a state-of-the-art ultrasound system that performs well across a wide range of physical examinations, from deep abdominal to superficial small parts, or from minute vessels to big muscular structures. Its advanced technologies and top-of-the-line image quality and ergonomics help boost the quality of patient management.
Last but not least, the Hyssen's EH-2050 and EH-2080 fully automatic urine sediment analyzers help users perform comprehensive urinalysis for patients. The equipment can automatically track and analyze different elements in urine samples, such as red blood cells. The system can connect with different urine dry-chemistry analyzers and obtain the result data to form an integrated urinalysis report.
"MEDICA has always been a great venue for us to showcase our products," commented Mr. Jie Liu, Mindray's Chief Operating Officer. "At the upcoming conference, we are delighted to show our comprehensive patient monitoring systems, the best-in-class DC-8 ultrasound system, as well as the newly acquired Hyssen's urine sediment analyzers. These products demonstrate Mindray's successful research efforts and our commitment to delivering advanced but affordable products to the markets worldwide."
