Industry Veterans Bring Extensive Consumer Product Experience to Company's Award-Winning Portfolio of Brands - Little Tikes, Lalaloopsy, Mooshka and Moxie
VAN NUYS, Calif., Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MGA Entertainment, Inc. (MGA) – the country's largest, independently owned toy company – announced today the addition of three new senior members to its leadership team to help take the company and its family of leading, fun-creating brands to a new level in 2014. Bruce Morrison, Executive Vice President of Sales and Licensing; Efren Gonzalez, Vice President of Advertising and Public Relations; and Ame Cameron, Vice President of Marketing, provide fresh strategic and creative thinking to supercharge the ongoing evolution of MGA into an entertainment powerhouse.

Bruce Morrison – Executive Vice President Sales and Licensing. Morrison is a consumer products industry veteran who will focus on strengthening critical business relationships with MGA's key retailers, licensees and distribution partners in the U.S. and abroad. In addition to his leadership role in sales and revenue growth for MGA, he will also serve as an important strategic role in the areas of retail marketing, business development and product planning in the global arena. Morrison most recently held the position of Senior Vice President Retail Sales for Disney Consumer Products (DCP) North America and was previously Managing Director for DCP Canada. Prior to joining Disney, Morrison worked for Hallmark Cards Canada, where he managed product marketing for Hallmark's specialty products brands.
Efren Gonzalez – Vice President of Advertising and Public Relations. Gonzalez joins MGA after 11 years with Ogilvy & Mather where he was most recently a Senior Partner and Executive Group Director. Gonzalez brings extensive, international integrated marketing expertise to the company, which will fuel the creation of robust, integrated programs for each MGA brand. Gonzalez launched his career at J. Walter Thompson as a media planner and later moved to the account side working on brands such as Vons, Microsoft, Paramount and Bally's Health & Fitness, among others. Gonzalez also worked at McCann, RPA and on the client side at Disney and Palm. Originally from Cuba and raised in Puerto Rico, Gonzalez is a graduate from UCLA.
Ame Cameron – Cameron arrives at MGA after two and half years with Walmart Marketing. As the Vice President of Marketing, Cameron will leverage her Consumer Packaged Goods background to infuse strategic business leadership into branding and marketing initiatives across all MGA product lines. Cameron began her brand marketing career at Unilever, on the Walmart Shopper Marketing team and later moved into Brand Management with Scott's Lawn and Shell Oil where she lead the industry changing Rain-X brand turnaround. Hailing from Rochester, N.Y., Cameron holds a BFA from Syracuse University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
