The Star Style Challenge platform incorporates imagery of inspirational fashions and Mercedes-Benz cars allowing fashion enthusiasts to build "sets," ala virtual mood boards. The Star Style Challenge asks one simple question: What does ultimate star style look like on the red carpet at the Academy Awards? Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer, Naeem Khan, and other notable accessories from Ranjana Khan and Bowens Bergeron can be selected as part of the set creation.
"Mercedes-Benz vehicles have always been an expression of individualism and style," said Lisa Holladay, manager of brand experience marketing at Mercedes-Benz USA. "We are excited to see where people will take their inspiration when they have an opportunity to incorporate the three-pointed star."
Fashion enthusiasts visiting the Star Style Challenge social platform can share their looks with friends and partake in a challenge to win the ultimate Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week experience. Winning the challenge is based on originality of the designed set, and receiving community likes and comments.
Those attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center from February 9-16, 2012 and have voted via mobile for their favorite set can receive a special Essie nail polish inspired by exclusive Mercedes-Benz designo vehicle paint colors.
