Men's Health Launches 8-Week Reality Competition Web Series To Find America's Next Top Trainer
8 Finalists Compete for the Title and Chance to Star in Fitness DVD Series
NEW YORK, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Men's Health, the world's best-selling fitness and lifestyle magazine published by Rodale Inc., today launched its first reality competition series, The Search for the Next Top Trainer. The 8-week web series follows 8 contestants in their quest to be named the Next Top Trainer, become a fitness/training advisor to Men's Health, and star in his own fitness DVD series, produced by Rodale Inc.
The Next Top Trainer competition is sponsored by EAS Sports Nutrition as part of its "The Best is Within" campaign, which aims to inspire, motivate and prepare individuals each day to achieve their personal best.
Men's Health kicked off the search for the Next Top Trainer in March with a nationwide call for entries and live casting event. Hundreds of applications were received and an elite group of judges including, Adam Campbell, Men's Health Fitness Director, and expert trainers David Jack and B.J. Gaddour narrowed the field down to the top 8 finalists:
Paul Theodore (Westlake, OH), Andrew Speer (New York, NY), Doron Willis (Studio City, CA), Joe Carabase (Vernon, CT), Kevin Mullins (Washington, DC), Pete Isip (Nutley, NJ), Eric Brown (Roslyn, PA), and Graham Mitchell (Los Angeles, CA).
