McCann Worldgroup's TM Advertising Announces Additions to Senior Management Team
DALLAS, April 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TM Advertising today announced that it has hired a breadth of new upper level management personnel as part of their agency transformation efforts. These efforts stem from the organization's goal to reintroduce its brand into the marketplace. TM has flown under the radar the past few years, mostly due to their relentless focus on their clients' businesses. Their clients are thriving – and now TM wants to grow their brand – and share their story.
Last May, TM announced that Becca Weigman would be joining the company as president. Weigman has led the company's reorganization initiatives and has assembled a brilliant group of innovators who bring additional talent to the agency.
TM welcomed Susan Scull to the team as a Senior Vice President Account Director. She rejoined the TM team from RAPP. Susan has more than 20 years of experience building successful brands such as NationsBank (Bank of America), JCPenney, Best Buy, Frito-Lay, Dean Foods, Domino's Pizza and Direct Energy. After many years at brand agencies (including TM and DDB), she rounded out her experience by building a strong acumen for the CRM and digital space, and she has returned to her love of branding in a fully integrated agency at TM.
New business plays a pivotal role in furthering TM's growth initiatives. TM welcomed Ashley Andy to the team as Vice President Director of Business Development. Andy is a seasoned new business pro, focusing her entire career, minus a short stint in account service, on business development. Andy spent 10 years at GSD&M Idea City, followed by two years at Mullen. After spending the past two years freelancing, Andy decided to plant her roots at TM. She has played an integral role in TM's growth efforts by developing and implementing a new business structure, as well as contributing to TM's rebranding efforts.
Susan Sexton has also recently joined the TM team as Vice President of Delivery. Sexton was tasked with creating a project management discipline for TM as part of the company reorganization plan. Sexton has developed a delivery system that is efficient and enables TM to execute flawlessly saving the client time and money. She has more than 20 years of experience and has spent time working for GROUP360 Worldwide, PowerPact, Dieste Harmel & Partners and TracyLocke, just to name a few.
Dion Brooks and James Helms are the most recent additions to the management team. They bring with them expertise in the ever-growing realm of digital. They will work to enhance the agency's digital capabilities. Brooks is joining the agency as Vice President Director of Digital Operations. Brooks has worked as a bodyguard, bouncer and bounty hunter. He was in two films, Under Siege and Daughters of the Dust. Although his acting career is impressive, Dion brings a bounty, no pun intended, of digital experience to TM. Digitally, he owned his own consulting company, BGB Consulting, working with clients to implement digital applications, video, rich media, blogs, content management systems, e-mail campaigns, data management systems and custom features for social networking sites. Brooks has worked at RAPP, Tribal and SecureInfo. Helms joins the team as vice president director of digital creative. Helms has a traditional advertising background as an art director and a big thinker. With more than 13 years in the business, he has established himself as a creative leader in digital media. In addition to traditional print, broadcast and out-of-home know-how, Helms brings to TM valuable expertise in the mobile, viral, social and interactive realms. Helms has had the opportunity to work on a strong collection of brands, including Miller Brewing Company, Nokia, Brown-Forman and Joe's Crab Shack, just to name a few.
