Major Retailer to Sell Corporate Surplus Real Estate at Auction
High-Traffic Commercial Properties located in Wisconsin and Michigan to hit auction block May 14
TULSA, Okla., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- National Commercial Auctioneers, LLC (www.natcomauctions.com), and Schrader Real Estate & Auction Company announce the auction of three commercial development parcels located in Michigan and Wisconsin on Friday, May 14, according to Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE, President of National Commercial Auctioneers.
"Simply put, all three of these commercial properties are well-located," remarked Karbelk. "The Dundee, Michigan property is over 5.8 acres with excellent highway visibility on US 23 and has high traffic retailers nearby such as Cabela's, Holiday Inn Express, Bob Evans, Splash Universe, Applebee's and Lone Star." The Cabela's location in Dundee is known as "Michigan's Largest Tourist Attraction" bringing nearly half of its customers from more than 100 miles away.
The second property being auctioned is a large 11.33-acre commercial property fronting US 45 in Polk/Richfield, Wis.
"With daily vehicle traffic exceeding 30,000 vehicles and area retailers including Cabela's and Ashley Furniture and the multiple tenants in Endeavor Business Park, any business looking for a prime new location would need to bid to buy this property," further commented Karbelk. The four counties of Milwaukee, Washington, Ozaukee and Waukesha constitute the 19th largest metropolitan area in the country and represent 28 percent of the population of Wisconsin.
The final auction properties are two commercial parcels in Prairie Du Chien, Wis., with one parcel being 3.47 acres and the second parcel being 4.10 acres. Both parcels have excellent visibility on State Highway 35. Nearby retailers include Cabela's, Country Inn & Suites and Buckhorn Grill & Pub.
"What makes the Prairie Du Chien location exceptional is the over 1,300 employee's working at the Cabela's Retail Store and Distribution Center and the 3M plant," commented Rex Shrader, President of Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company. "The properties are also easy to start developing with the favorable B-1 zoning and city sewer, water, electric and gas available."
"The common attribute of all of these commercial properties is that they are exceptionally well-located with excellent highway visibility," noted Karbelk. "We believe these sites will always be good locations so any investor or business hoping to find the perfect investment or location needs to look at these properties first."
