Luby's, Inc. Debuts Second Greater Houston Dual Concept Site In The Katy, Texas Community Of Cinco Ranch With Side-By-Side Luby's And Fuddruckers Restaurants

KATY, Texas, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Luby's, Inc. welcomed guests to its newest dual concept location today with the opening of a side-by-side Luby's cafeteria and Fuddruckers fast casual restaurant at 24033 Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Katy.  This is the company's second new-build offering of its kind in the Greater Houston Area.  The prototype opened in Pearland in August 2012.  Luby's, Inc. also operates a dual concept store in east Houston that represents a modified Luby's with a Fuddruckers Drive Thru site.

The free-standing structure in the heart of the popular Cinco Ranch community near the Energy Corridor is approximately 13,000 square feet.  The Fuddruckers component seats 92 and features 3,000 square feet, while the Luby's can accommodate 220 guests in 9,900 square feet.

The decor at Luby's references both the Texas Hill Country and aspects of the Mid-Century modern movement, paying homage to the place and time of the brand's 1940s era beginnings.  Rich finishes include inviting accents of bronze and walnut, while a neutral background gives way to pops of vibrant color, including red, avocado and Mediterranean blue.  Traditional, leather upholstered wood chairs are offset by contemporary fixtures and murals.

Fuddruckers presents a fresh take on the chain's signature, roadhouse look with a design that caters to today's more sophisticated tastes with an environment that is ideal for a family outing or a date night.
