NEW YORK, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- lokai, a socially responsible lifestyle brand that represents the importance of finding balance and staying centered along life's journey, is honored to announce its official partnership with internationally acclaimed charity Save the Children. The #livelokai campaign officially kicks off December 1, just in time for holiday giving. Through December 31, 2015, lokai will donate $1 to Save the Children for every red lokai sold, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $300,000. "As an official partner of Save the Children, lokai is excited to release a special limited-edition red lokai," said Steven Izen, Founder and CEO of lokai. "We are proud to say that we have committed $300,000 to Save the Children. lokai is honored to support this valuable initiative to help save the lives of children across the globe. I hold this cause dear to my heart and believe the core principles of Save the Children embody the spirit of lokai. Together, we aim to promote positive change in children's lives throughout the world."
Founded in 2013, lokai has committed to donating 10% of its net profits to a variety of non-profit organizations. To further raise awareness for Save the Children, lokai encourages supporters to post Instagram photos wearing a red lokai to "Embrace Your Inner Child" tagging @livelokai and @SavetheChildren, and by using the hashtag #livelokai.
"Thanks to our holiday promotion with lokai, shoppers will now be able to give a stylish gift to friends and family that gives back by providing a brighter future to children in the United States and around the world," said Carolyn Miles, president and CEO of Save the Children, who will unveil the limited-edition red lokai bracelet on the red carpet at the organization's third annual Illumination Gala. "We hope the Save the Children lokai bracelet will become the ultimate fashion statement and a must-have accessory this holiday season!"
