Both the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live and The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, feature Envision, which delivers the industry's first cloud-based interactive television experience without the need for a computer in every room. It features apps that connect guests to the things that are important to them when traveling, such as checking weather and current flight information as well as learning more about on-site amenities and local attractions. Additional apps, including InRoom Dining and automated Guest Request, are scheduled to be installed soon. Envision also delivers a full array of in-room entertainment. The hotels are the first properties of their respective brands to be installed with Envision.
"We are thrilled about the prospect of ALIS (The Americas Lodging and Investment Summit) attendees experiencing Envision during their stay at the L.A. LIVE this week," said David Goldstone, Vice President Sales & Hotel Relations for LodgeNet. "With over 1,000 guest rooms between the two hotels, this location is a tremendous venue in which to showcase the capabilities of our Envision platform."
"We are very pleased to be offering Envision to our guests as we see great opportunities to enliven their experience with this new technology," said Bill Buckley, Director of Sales & Marketing, JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A.
