This is proving to be a huge asset for the overall success of this project," says Gabriel Gornell, Chief Creative Officer, Locomotive Distribution. "We simply couldn't have asked for better partners than Michael Pinckney and Definition 6."
"You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Kills You" was written and directed by Michael "Boogie" Pinckney, Founder and Managing Director of Black Noise Media, a full service production house based in New York City. "We were thrilled to work on this movie, which features a talented cast and local hip hop icons Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh and Ed Lover," says Gil Wolchock, Group Account Director at Definition 6. "Partnering with Locomotive Distribution for publicity and post-production work on a full-length film expands our reach into the entertainment industry and allows us to leverage our unified marketing expertise to develop a unique strategy for Locomotive."
The film will premiere at the Williamsburg International Film Festival - WILLiFEST - in Brooklyn on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at the Knitting Factory.
