Live Like Bella® Foundation provides funding for "Bella's Bench" at the Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado

MIAMI, Dec. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- A bold and out of the box non-profit research venture was recently launched to provide children diagnosed with cancer and their families hope for the creation of new clinical trials.  The Children's Cancer Therapy Development Institute (cc-TDI for short) is focused upon the pre-clinical gap in childhood cancer research.  cc-TDI has one mission: to bridge scientific discovery in the laboratory to the clinic through the initiation of clinical trials with evidence based testing and prioritization of new drugs for childhood cancer clinical trials.  cc-TDI fills this critical gap in research in a private non-profit environment located in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Live Like Bella® is proud to support these efforts through the creation of "Bella's Bench."

On September 13, 2014 Raymond Rodriguez-Torres announced the creation of "Bella's Bench" at cc-TDI.  Through this collaborative effort, and under the visionary leadership of Charles Keller, III, MD, the Scientific Director for cc-TDI, Live like Bella® is once again working outside the box in an effort to provide hope to families and children with cancer.  "Bella's Bench" pictured here, will stand as a symbol of collaborative hope.
