Lightstone Group Announces New Lease with Olive Garden at Dakota Square Mall in Minot, ND

MINOT, N.D., March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lightstone Group announced today that the Olive Garden has signed a lease to locate a 255-seat Italian restaurant at its Dakota Square Mall in Minot, ND. The restaurant will be situated on the site of the former Paradiso Mexican Restaurant, which will be demolished in the next few weeks to make way for the construction of the Olive Garden. The 7,800 square-foot restaurant has an anticipated opening date of late summer 2011.

"Our customer base has been asking for an Olive Garden for years," said Chuck Massey, Senior General Manager of Dakota Square Mall. "This will make an outstanding addition to the dining, entertainment and shopping options at Dakota Square."

Based in Orlando, Olive Garden is a leading restaurant in the Italian dining segment, with more than 700 restaurants across North America. The restaurant is known for its Tuscan farmhouse design, authentic Italian food, award-winning wine list, and a commitment to providing guests with a genuine Italian dining experience.

The Olive Garden will be located on the north side of the Dakota Square Mall property, a key location that is highly visible from U.S. Highways 52 and 2. The 600,000 square foot mall is located on 79 acres and is home to such tenants as Target, Sears, JC Penney, and Barnes and Noble, as well as a 176-room Sleep Inn hotel with a 24,000-square-foot indoor water park.
