LIFX announces new partnerships with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® and Campfire
Together, LIFX will work to change the lives of children
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, LIFX, makers of the world's brightest color Wi-Fi enabled smart light bulbs, announced a new partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
LIFX will donate 10% of the retail price of select campaigns through LIFX.com to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from August 1, 2016 through January 31, 2018, with a minimum of $50,000 to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
A world leader in research, St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Thanks to donations received through programs like this one, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
"Working with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital allows us to give back to our most loyal fans and make a difference in the lives of children all over the world," said Marc Alexander, LIFX CEO.
LIFX is dedicated to bringing color to children and adults worldwide, and is actively working with partners, like Campfire , aimed at creating interactive environments for the whole family, expanding the idea of a connected home.
Today, LIFX is proud to also partner with Campfire (getcampfire.co). Campfire brings an immersive, multi-sensory experience of light and sound to children's physical books. Available today in the iOS store for the US, Campfire is a great way to bolster reading and learning as the school year begins.
Like St. Jude, Campfire is determined to improve the lives of children. Through storytelling, Campfire's app creates special moments between children and their parents. Campfire is releasing its public beta product today with immersive experiences around a handful of the most popular children's books, and will be quickly adding more to its growing library.
"We're excited to launch our partnership with LIFX, as their philosophy and rigorous attention to creating quality experiences aligns perfectly with our vision, and we couldn't be happier with the support they've provided," said Kyle Kesterson, CEO of Campfire.
Together with these new partnerships, LIFX is proud to play a role in changing the lives of children, one light bulb at a time.
