"While the past 4 years at KPRI have been a great place to build the Lick the Plate brand, joining the Entercom group of stations in San Diego will enable us to take Lick the Plate to another level altogether," said host David Boylan. He added, "Not only will we be able to expose the talent driving the culinary community in San Diego to a much wider audience, but we will have an opportunity for a far greater impact on these stations revenue than we did in the past with our original content, events, and promotions surrounding Lick the Plate. I am also bringing sponsor Stellar Solar over to help launch the show. This is a win-win for the show and Entercom San Diego and we can't wait to get back on the air November 2."
Entercom San Diego Director of Sales, Pat Osburn, who gave Lick the Plate the green light at KPRI 4 years ago was quick to scoop up the show when it became available. Pat Osburn recently said, "David has created a very unique and original format with Lick the Plate. He has built it into a brand familiar with San Diegans and is both a great storyteller and a smart marketer. With the power of our 3 top rated stations behind the show, this feature and our partnership can only continue to grow."
Lick the Plate Radio will air Monday through Friday during the first commercial break during the 7pm hour on KBZT-FM, KSON-FM, and KIFM-FM.
