NEW YORK, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM today announced that on Monday, November 7, the Comedy Greats channel will exclusively air a new standup performance from comedian Lewis Black. "This Should Have Been a Special" will premiere on channel 94 at 6:00 pm ET.
Known for his humorous rants and unique comedic style, Black pulls no punches during his new one-hour show. Set to air the night before the election, this never-before-heard material features Black skewering everyone from terrorists to politicians to even weathermen. During one set Black jokes that while his entire military experience consists of three years in the cub scouts, he still has a better idea of how to handle ISIS than anyone running for office.
"I'm truly looking forward to Lewis Black yelling at me for an hour," said Jack Vaughn, SVP of Comedy Programming, SiriusXM. "This is a unique election, and I can't think of a better way for it to end than listening to Lewis Black. I'm thrilled to bring our audience this brand new show, which delivers a combination of laugh-out-loud humor and social commentary in a manner that is quintessentially Lewis."
In addition to his performance airing on Comedy Greats, Black will do a special, closed-door set exclusively for SiriusXM subscribers. Shortly after his special wraps on the evening of November 7th the comedian will head to downtown New York for "Lewis Black Live at the Barrow Street Theatre," which will offer lucky SiriusXM fans an up close and personal show.
"This Should Have Been a Special" premieres on Monday at 6:00 pm ET and will re-air on Wednesday at 10:00 am and 8:00 pm ET, as well as Thursday at 11:00 am and 7:00 pm ET. For more information visit www.siriusxm.com.
