Edwards Lifesciences reported Q4 2012 earnings per share of 77 cents, up 45.3 percent year over year from 53 cents, and a 18.7 percent year over year increase in revenue at $510.5 million, which was within the company's guidance range. Medical device maker Cyberonics reported net income growth of 39 percent in fiscal Q3 of 2012 after selling more of its nerve stimulation devices, and increased its outlook for the rest of 2013. The company netted $13.2 million in net income or 47 cents per share, up from $9.5 million or 34 cents per share. Revenue came in at $62.7 million, up 15 percent from $54.5 million.
