Leading Thinkers, Entertainers & Creative minds join Moleskine and (RED) in the fight against AIDS with #oneREDday digital campaign and exhibit

NEW YORK, Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To mark the launch of a new partnership between Moleskine and (RED), an exhibition opens today at The Avenue at Park Hyatt New York, showing what leading thinkers, entertainers and creative minds would do if they had 'one (RED) day' to raise awareness around the fight against AIDS.
The campaign - entitled #oneREDday - calls for thinkers, innovators and Moleskine fans from all walks of life to imagine, capture and share what they would do if they had #oneREDday to raise awareness and rally people around the AIDS fight.
Presented on oversized wall mounts, the exhibit presents submissions from artist Futura, AIDS activists Jake Glaser and Christopher Wilding, HIV co-discoverer Dr. Gallo, Grammy-award winning producer Ryan Lewis, chefs Mario Batali and Sebastien Archambault, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Biz Stone, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, and more. The exhibition is free of charge and open around the clock from November 4 through World AIDS Day, December 1, 2014.
The new partnership between (RED) and Moleskine will raise money and awareness to fight AIDS, and sees the launch of a brand new (MOLESKINE)RED Special Edition #oneREDday Collection. Available in stores now, the collection features a Classic Hard Cover Notebook, Daily Planner, Click Pen, and Luggage Tag, with each item sold will donate 5% of the suggested retail price to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

(RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, and to date has generated more than $275 million for the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS grants in Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania and Zambia. 100 percent of that money goes to work on the ground. Global Fund grants that (RED) supports have impacted more than 55 million people with prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care services.
