Law Offices of Silldorf & Levine, LLP to Present "Power Board" Seminar for Community Associations

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., June 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Partners of the Southern California Community Association law firm of Silldorf & Levine, LLP will present their "Power Board" seminar on June 18, 2011 at the San Clemente Community Center.

The attorneys of Silldorf & Levine, LLP developed this educational seminar to provide community managers and homeowners association board members with tools to create and maintain  economically and socially healthy homeowners associations.

The four partners of the law firm will present on topics including best practices to streamline operations and save money, the impact of new legislation, protecting associations from liability and guerilla tactics for collection of unpaid assessments.

The "Power Board" seminar was created by Howard J. Silldorf who has represented homeowners associations throughout Southern California since 1982.  Silldorf explains, "The recession, high assessments, high delinquencies, slow bank foreclosures and aggravated members have created more pressure on community associations than ever before.  This seminar is designed to provide options for boards so that they can regain the power to run their associations efficiently and economically."  The "Power Board" teaches community association managers and homeowners associations to reduce board spending and decrease special assessments by providing unique solutions to difficult problems.

Earlier this year, Silldorf & Levine, LLP introduced the "Power Board" seminar in San Diego.  More than thirty community managers and association board members attended the event.  The Orange County "Power Board" has grown in size and now includes a tradeshow where managers and board members will have access to community association vendors to help implement the concepts presented at the seminar.  On June 18, 2011, the "Power Board" will include representatives from Berg Insurance Agency, Inc., Del Mar Pacific General Contractors, Inc., Jon Wayne Construction and Consulting, Popular Association Banking, Design Build Associates and Varsity Painting.
