Lavazza Unveils Exclusive New Recipes at the World's Greatest Coffee Shop at Wimbledon
LONDON, June 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Lavazza, Italy's favourite coffee, has been selected to be the official coffee of Wimbledon and predicts that it will serve hundreds of thousands of coffeesto 500,000 tennis fans during The Championships (20 June - 3 July 2011).
A total of over 200 coffee machines, including espresso, hot chocolate and granita machines, grinders, mixers and cream whippers will be used by over 600 staff. All staff will either be professional Lavazza baristas themselves, or be trained by Lavazza's state-of-the-art barista trainers at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
Giuseppe Lavazza, vice president, said, "We decided to become partners with Wimbledon because Wimbledon's values are so consistent with Lavazza's - amongst them heritage, tradition, authenticity and an excellent experience.
