Lauren Karasek Joins MWW As Vice President Of Social Media Strategy

Karasek brings an established record of working with world class brands and in crafting social programs that drive influencer engagement and audience activation. In her new role at MWW, Karasek will serve as a senior member of MWW's best-in-class social media team and will provide social strategy to clients seeking corporate communications and public affairs support.

Prior to joining MWW, Karasek served as vice president and interim practice group director at M Booth where she provided strategic counsel and oversight for such consumer technology leaders as OpenTable, FourSquare and StumbleUpon. Previously, she served as vice president at FleishmanHillard, where she led day-to-day global account activities for Samsung's visual display business and produced communications collateral for worldwide markets. During her tenure with the company, she also served as the content lead for AT&T's consumer innovation program, while contributing to the AT&T blogger relations team.
Karasek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications and American studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and received a graduate certificate in PACs and political management from George Washington University.
