Laura Posada And Other New York Tri-State Area Moms Are Treated To An Inside Glimpse Behind The Golden Arches
McDonald's New York Tri-State to Give Real Life Moms Behind-The-Counter Access in a Continued Effort to Build Brand Trust
ROSELAND, N.J., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of McDonald's continued commitment to build conversation and transparency with moms, Laura Posada, mother of two and founder of The Jorge Posada Foundation, is joining a group of "real life moms" from the New York Tri-State area to participate in an exclusive behind-the-counter event. The tour will be lead by Linda Dunham, McDonald's Owner/Operator mom and Chair of Ronald McDonald House Charities®, in one of her Manhattan restaurants to bring women from different backgrounds, lifestyles and perspectives together to discuss one important issue they all have in common: what they feed their families.
"As a mom, I realize how important it is to have good quality food to feed the family," said Linda Dunham, McDonald's Owner/Operator and Chair of Ronald McDonald House Charities. "I'm proud to be hosting this special event with Laura Posada to give local moms an inside glimpse behind the Golden Arches and discuss their questions and concerns of keeping their families well."
Laura Posada's visit is just one of many activities planned throughout the region to explore the food quality, safety and nutritional value of McDonald's menu items, and allow everyday moms to share their own concerns. Throughout the fall, local McDonald's restaurants will be hosting McCafe Mom's Club get-togethers. At each Club event, attending moms will be encouraged to discuss important issues of what their family eats, as well as issues affecting their community with a local public official mom from their community, who will be on hand.
Local mommy bloggers will be invited to go on behind-the-counter tours with their local McDonald's Owner/Operator mom, similar to the experience Laura Posada is participating in. Additionally, McDonald's will be providing moms with tips and tools they need to keep their families happy and healthy through an ongoing series of trayliners in local participating McDonald's restaurants.
"I applaud McDonald's New York Tri-State area restaurants in their continued effort to engage real life moms and give them an inside peak into one of the greatest and prevalent brands," said Laura Posada. "As a busy mom on-the-go, I'm always looking for tricks and ways to help keep my family happy and healthy. It's good to know that McDonald's is a trusted source for my family."
McDonald's New York Tri-State area's campaign was inspired by the brand's Moms' Quality Correspondents program, which gives everyday moms unprecedented access behind-the-scenes to investigate the quality and nutritional value of McDonald's menu items to find out more about what they feed their families and share what they learn.
