With four different recipe categories to choose from- Breakfast/Brunch, Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert- and $10,000 on the line, consumers have until April 29th to submit original recipes using at least two whole Eggland's Best eggs and a local ingredient or food from the state where they reside.
The highest scoring recipe in each state will be deemed "Best in State" and will be organized into five regions- Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, West. Then Eggland's Best will turn to America to help select the five "Best in Region" recipes. The recipes selected by America and a panel of EB judges as "Best in Region" will then be revealed on the Eggland's Best website for one final round of voting, where consumers will help select the recipe that deserves they feel deserves the title "America's Best Recipe!"
The Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 and a year supply of Eggland's Best eggs. "Best in Region" winners will receive $1,000 and a year supply of Eggland's Best eggs and "Best in State" winners will receive an Eggland's Best prize pack which will include a month supply of Eggland's Best eggs.
