Land O'Frost to Reward One Extraordinary Dad by Sending Him to the Hall of Fame
Family-Owned Lunchmeat Company To Honor Hall of Fame Dad This Father's Day by Sending One Lucky Dad to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Weekend
LANSING, Ill., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- While others will be honoring the dad in their life this Father's Day with a new neck tie, a bottle of cologne or by taking him to breakfast, Land O'Frost – the nation's third-largest lunchmeat brand – is offering a way to honor dad by sending him to the Hall of Fame. This Father's Day, dads don't have to wear an official jersey to be in their family's Hall of Fame.
Leading up to June 20, family-owned Land O'Frost is asking wives, children and family members to submit why the dad in their life is Hall of Fame worthy for a chance to send him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremonies in Canton, OH this August.
Now through Sunday, June 20, Land O'Frost is asking for all of America to complete the following sentence: "The dad in my life is a Hall of Fame Dad because ____________" for a chance to win a VIP trip package to the 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Event. The winning dad, and three of his guests, will enjoy free airfare and hotel, VIP access to the 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony, premium tickets to the Hall of Fame Game and special access to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game day Roundtable Luncheon featuring the Class of 2010.
"I know first-hand the positive impact a great father can have on his family," said David Van Eekeren, president of Land O'Frost. "Dads play such an important role in our lives, from offering sage advice to challenging their children to be the best they can be. That is why we are proud to offer one lucky 'Hall of Fame' dad this great once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Anyone can nominate the Hall of Fame dad in their life by visiting www.LandOMoms.com and submitting their 10- to 100-word explanation about their dad's award-winning ways. This year's Pro Football Hall of Fame class includes seven legendary NFL greats: Russ Grimm, Rickey Jackson, Dick Le Beau, Floyd Little, John Randle, Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice. All seven will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 7, 2010.
