LAN Airlines Ticket Sales to All Destinations Back to Normal
SANTIAGO, Chile, March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- LAN Airlines reports that as of today passengers can once again purchase plane tickets for all destinations served by the airline.
Additionally, the online check-in option on LAN.com is fully operational, allowing passengers to print their boarding passes beforehand to help expedite the check-in process at the airport. LAN recommends that customers who have purchased tickets for travel to, from or within Chile through March 21, 2010 reconfirm the status of their flights on LAN.com, the best source for the most up-to-date information and flight itineraries.
LAN also reports that it has been able to reschedule travel for the passengers affected by flight cancellations due to the earthquake that struck the southern region of Chile last week.
The Company has designated an airplane that will fly from Santiago to Concepcion daily carrying shipments of humanitarian aid, volunteers and staff members from organizations including Hogar de Cristo (Christ's Home), the Red Cross, Caritas, Un Techo para Chile (A Roof for Chile) and Bomberos de Chile (Firefighters of Chile).
