Power Restored to More Than 600,000 Since Isaac Struck Louisiana
NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- By Monday afternoon, Entergy crews have restored power to 86 percent of Louisiana customers who lost electricity when Hurricane Isaac made landfall Aug. 29.
As of 4 p.m. Monday, Entergy has restored power to more than 600,000 of the 704,000 Louisiana customers who lost power when Isaac made its slow trek across the state. Since 6 p.m. Sunday, Entergy has restored nearly 50,000 customers in some of the hardest hit parishes, including Orleans and Jefferson.
