TALLAHASSEE, Fla., April 15, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The KW Miller Congressional Committee ("Committee") has delivered a "Fairness and Voter Fraud" notice to Florida Secretary of State, Laurel Lee regarding the pending 2020 Congressional Primaries.
The Committee expressed their serious concerns about the fairness, viability, potential for voter fraud and discriminatory cost disadvantages that all Congressional and State Candidates face due to circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak in Florida.
The Committee, in conjunction with many other Florida Candidates, do not believe it is possible, nor fair for the current filing deadline of April 24, 2020 to be enforced. Nor does the Committee believe that the Candidate filing fees should be applicable, as all Campaigns have been shut down the past few months due to Covid-19 concerns.
The State of Florida has also been subject to substantial election Fraud in recent years, both surrounding the Mail in Ballots, in addition to specific fraud in each County' s Supervisor of Election offices.
The Committee is calling upon the Secretary of State to take immediate remedial action as follows: 1) extend the formal filing deadline for Florida's Congressional Candidates by a minimum of 30 days to May 24, 2020; 2) Waive the Filing Fees for Congressional Candidates as they have been fundamentally disadvantaged, and will continue to be disadvantaged due to the COVID-19 outbreak; 3) extend the Primary date to September 30, 2020 at the earliest, or declare a general election for Candidates only in November.
The over reliance on Mail in Ballots will further undermine the entire Primary process, making it further susceptible to undue fraud. Mail In ballots are systemically stolen by criminal syndicates hired to influence specific districts, misplaced and discarded, and otherwise manipulated.
The COVID-19 infection concerns will linger, causing individual voters to "NOT" vote in person, which will lead to substantial "UNDERVOTING" across Florida' s Congressional Districts, and further exacerbate the potential for Mail in Ballot voter fraud.
