Kronos Worldwide Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option
DALLAS, Nov. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kronos Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: KRO) today announced that the underwriters for its recently-announced public offering of common stock exercised in full their over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1.17 million shares. The aggregate 8.97 million shares of common stock issued in the offering, including the 1.17 million shares subject to the over-allotment option, were sold at a public offering price of $40.00 per share. The total net proceeds to the company from the offering, including the over-allotment option, was approximately $337.6 million after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses payable by the company.
Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Stephens Inc. acted as joint book running managers for the offering, and BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, LLC, and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. were co-managers of the offering.
