KPMG Launches Employee Onboarding Solution And Announces Expansion Of ServiceNow Capabilities At Knowledge15
LAS VEGAS, April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, today launched a digital solution, "KPMG OnBoard," to help alleviate new-hire stress and allow employees to feel prepared and valued from the start of their new career. At ServiceNow's Knowledge15 conference, KPMG will also announce the acquisition of the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management business unit of Triad Technology Partners (Triad). Triad's ServiceNow team will join KPMG's CIO Advisory practice.
KPMG ONBOARD
KPMG OnBoard is a customized, mobile-enabled solution, designed to engage new employees through their first 90 days. The KPMG OnBoard platform enhances the employee's onboarding experience by automating a manual compliance process into a rewarding new employment relationship.
"KPMG's OnBoard platform was designed to reflect the fact that a new employee's initial interaction with a company can significantly affect job satisfaction and retention," says Rick Wright, KPMG's Technology Innovation leader. "The onboarding experience is an undervalued process in the talent lifecycle, yet it is directly linked to engagement and sets the tone for what new employees can expect. Replacing people is expensive and time consuming, so there is also a direct return on investment when it comes to onboarding."
KPMG OnBoard includes a modern, responsive interface that focuses on the employee and relationships between new hires, hiring managers, and HR professionals. Its social-centric design reflects the way people interact digitally and ensures employees receive the tools they need to succeed, with a personal touch. Enhanced features include an intuitive dashboard with access to automated forms, video content, alerts and reminders, digital signature capability, and social collaboration to interact with new team members.
"OnBoard is intuitive, easily accessible and information rich, so it helps new hires feel connected and empowered from the first day of employment," says Wright. "When you can help manage a new hire's natural anxiety and expectations, you can instill a sense of loyalty and confidence in your business, and ultimately improve retention rates. Simply put, with KPMG OnBoard, new hires are equipped and engaged sooner, so they can make positive contributions to your business faster."
KPMG OnBoard leverages the ServiceNow enterprise service delivery platform to streamline workflows and approvals and provide leading privacy and security controls. As a premier sponsor of the ServiceNow Knowledge15 conference, KPMG will unveil OnBoard during the Day 1 Keynote on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, and showcase the solution in booth #304 in the exhibition hall.
FIRM ACQUIRES UNIT OF TRIAD TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS
KPMG will also announce the acquisition of the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management business unit of Triad Technology Partners (Triad), in a transaction designed to strengthen KPMG's market-leading position in the public sector. The transaction also significantly improves the firm's ability to meet the demand for transformational technology solutions from federal government agencies.
As a top reseller of ServiceNow capabilities to the U.S. federal government, Triad's ServiceNow consultants will bring decades of government experience and strong relationships.
"The addition of the Triad ServiceNow team highlights how important the public sector is to KPMG and demonstrates how ServiceNow is helping us deliver new capabilities in the federal market," says Rob Dwyer, leader of KPMG's Federal Advisory Technology practice. "These professionals will serve as the nucleus of KPMG's federal ServiceNow practice and build on the strength and success of our commercial practice."
"These announcements at Knowledge15 reflect the commitment, strength and depth of KPMG's strategic partnership with ServiceNow, which harnesses the latest technology innovations to help companies become more agile and more service-oriented enterprises," said David Schneider, chief revenue officer, ServiceNow. "With its new onboarding application, KPMG is transforming an organization's talent management experience."
